SMEs within the Sheffield City Region can now benefit from SFSY Connection and Innovation Vouchers worth 50% of the cost of faster broadband connections and new digital innovations.

Sheffield’s Eaton Commercial Property Consultants have benefitted from an SFSY Connection Voucher, which has provided 50% of the cost of their new 40Mbps wireless connection.

Founded in 1994, Eaton Commercial is a firm of Chartered Surveyors providing property consultancy to a wide range of clients, specialising in the motor trade sector, advising in the acquisition of sites for dealerships and analysing their assets to maximise property returns. They also act on behalf of a range of industrial and retail clients providing advice on property portfolios within these sectors. Clients include JCT600 Motor Group, Nationwide Accident Repair Centres, Royal Bank of Scotland Group Plc, Lidl Food stores, and fellow Sheffield-based Henry Boot Developments.

Their new wireless connection has enabled them to kick-start the marketing of properties, edit their material through internal connections and external resources such as Rightmove at a moment’s notice, and provides instant access to legal documents and large data files such as architects’ plans, consultancy documents and online planning applications.

Robert Eaton Managing Director of Eaton Commercial said, ‘The claim process has been swift, and we would certainly recommend that other SMEs apply.’

Natalie Ward,  Programme Manager for Superfast South Yorkshire, added ‘We are delighted to be offering SMEs in the Sheffield City Region the opportunity to take up faster connectivity  with vouchers worth up to £2500, and to introduce new digital innovations with vouchers up to £12,499, with the aim of improving performance and driving growth.’
